TOKYO FASHION AWARD(TFA)への応募動機
海外のセレクトショップからパリで展示会はないのか？との連絡が何件かあり、なんとかパリで展示会できるチャンスはないかと模索していた時に、知り合いのデザイナーからアワードの存在を聞き応募致しました。
TFAの支援メニューについてはどう感じられましたか？どのメニューが魅力的に感じましたか？
海外に向けてアピールできる絶好のチャンスを頂けたと思います。
海外展示会へのサポートの部分がとても魅力的だと思います。
受賞の連絡を受けた時のお気持ち
TFAを目標の1つにしておりましたので、純粋に嬉しかったのとホッとした気持ちになりました。
冷静になった時に、今後の怒涛のスケジュールを考えると少し不安にはなりましたが…
これまでのTFA受賞デザイナー24組の活躍をご覧になって、どう感じられましたか？
数々のブランド様がファッションアワードを受賞された後に、世界で活躍されておられるので、純粋に尊敬しております。
doubletさんがLVMHを受賞された時は同じ日本人として心から嬉しかったです
来年1月と6月のフィレンツェのピッティやパリのショールームでの発表に向けての意気込みと、海外での発表を通して達成したい目標をお願いします。
JieDaというオリジナリティをより確立し、それを世界に広げていけたらなと思います。
目標は一軒でも多くのお取引先様を増やしたいです。
What motivated you to make an entry to the TOKYO FASHION AWARD (TFA)?
I received several inquiries from overseas select shops, asking whether we were going to do an exhibition in Paris, and just when I was looking for some opportunity to exhibit in Paris, a designer friend told me about this award, so I entered.
How do you feel about TFA’s support menu? Which menu were you attracted to?
I think I’ve been given the perfect opportunity to make an appeal to overseas. I think the support towards overseas exhibit is extremely attractive.
How did you feel when you received the notice of winning the award?
I had set TFA as one of my goals, so I was simply happy, and at the same time, relieved. But once I calmed down, I became a bit anxious thinking about the crazy raging schedule I’m about to face…
How do you feel seeing how active the 24 past TFA Award winners are?
Many brands are doing well in global markets after winning the Fashion Award, and I purely feel respect towards them. When doublet was awarded the LVMH Prize, I was happy from the bottom of my heart, as a Japanese.
Please give us a word of enthusiasm towards your presentations at Pitti in Florence and the Paris showroom, next January and June, and the goal you are aiming for through these overseas presentations.
I hope to more firmly establish the originality of JieDa and spread that to the world. My goal is to gain as many sales channels as possible.
