山形県生まれ。
日本有数のニット産地である山形で幼少期を過ごし、専門学校でマーケティング、デザイン、ファブリックなどを学ぶ。セレクトショップを経て、有名ブランドを数多く手掛けるニットメーカー米富繊維株式会社に入社、ニットテキスタイルの企画開発に携わる。
長い歴史の中で独自に開発されたヴィンテージテキスタイルの数々に着目。
膨大な数の過去のアーカイヴをベースに今の時代感を吹き込み、ニットツウィードという素材の持つ無限の可能性を追求し、表現をすべく自社ブランドCoohem（コーヘン）を立ち上げる。
Born and raised in Yamagata prefecture, known for its fabrication of knits.
In university, he majored in fashion marketing, design and textile. After his carrier in multi-brand shop, Ken joined YONETOMI SENI CO.,LTD where he participated in developing knit textiles.
Inspired by the vintage textiles originally invented by YONETOMI SENI, he launched the company’s original brand “Coohem” .
He renovates numerous archives with a modern sense into fashion items which represent infinite possibilities of knitted-tweeds.

ブランド創設：2010年
Coohem（コーヘン）は、ニットの世界で云う「交編（こうへん）」に由来する造語で、ニットテキスタイルという素材の持つ無限の可能性を追求するブランドとして2010年FALL＆WINTERよりスタート。「交編」とはいくつもの素材を使い織物のようなテキスタイルをニットの組織で作る技術であり、異なる色や素材を組み合わせることにより新しい素材の表情や着心地を生み出します。この世界でも希有の「交編」技術によるニットテキスタイルをスタンダードなデザインに落とし込んだ大人の為のリアルクローズを提案します。日本の職人とのコラボレーションにより作りだされるニットツウィードは、糸の選定から色、柄の組み合わせ全てがオリジナルに開発され、ファンシーな柄や鮮やかなカラーリングに特徴があります。その素材の企画開発から商品の生産までの全工程を自社ファクトリーで作り、オリジナル性の高いクオリティを実現します。
Established in 2010
Launched in 2010 AUTUMN & WINTER season, Coohem had started as a factory brand of YONETOMI SENI CO., LTD, who has a rich history as a knitwear manufacturer in Japanese fashion industry. We have been individually innovating our textiles with special “交編 / kóuhen / “ technique that intricate combination of various yarns, and our brand name is originated with this method. As a brand, which esteems traditional clothing with a playful and happy aesthetics, we devote to translate our distinctive textiles into familiar items for modern fashion. Our whole collections are produced at in-house factory in Japan, and it contains full of sophisticated craftsmanship and creativity.
