文化服装学院で学んだ後渡英し、イスティチュート・マランゴーニ（Istituto Marangoni）のロンドン校で修士課程を修了。その後「アレキサンダー・マックイーン（Alexander McQueen）」と「バーバリー（BURBERRY）」でウィメンズウェアデザイナーを経験。日本に帰国後、デザイン事務所設立。国内外のブランドにデザイン提供し、現在は DAIWAなどのデザイナーも務める。2023 年、パラトレイト（paratrait）をスタート。
Shunta Sakai studied at Bunka Fashion College before moving to the UK and completing a master's degree at Istituto Marangoni, London. He then worked as a womenswear designer for Alexander McQueen and Burberry. After returning to Japan, established a design office. He has provided designs for national and international brands and is currently a designer for DAIWA, etc. In 2023, he started paratrait.
