文化服装学院で服作りの基礎を学び、文化ファッション大学院大学を経て、英ノッティンガム・トレント大学に留学。2014年に自身のブランド「YOHEI OHNO」を設立し、2015年秋冬コレクションでデビュー。アートや建築、工業製品から着想を得た構築的なフォルムと実用性の融合が特徴。2016年には「TOKYO FASHION AWARD」を受賞し、2018年には「International Woolmark Prize」のファイナリストに選出された。また、2025年の大阪・関西万博では、住友館のアテンダントユニフォームを手がけるなど、活動の幅を広げている。
After studying at Bunka Fashion College and Nottingham Trent University, he launched his brand “YOHEI OHNO” in 2014. Known for sculptural forms inspired by art, architecture, and industrial design, he won the Tokyo Fashion Award in 2016 and was a finalist for the International Woolmark Prize in 2018. In 2025, he designed the attendant uniforms for the Sumitomo Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai.

YOHEI OHNO is built on the concept of “unique forms and functionality,” drawing inspiration from art, architecture, sculpture, and product design from around the world and across eras.
