立命館大学を卒業後、ロンドン芸術大学セントラルセントマーチンズへ留学。
2019 年同大学ファッションデザイン/ ウィメンズデザイン学科を卒業。2020 年春夏コレクションより、東京にてyushokobayashi をスタート。
After graduating from Ritsumeikan University, he studied abroad at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London.In 2019, he graduated from the BA Fashion Design: Womenswear at the same university and then launched his brand, yushokobayashi, in Tokyo with the Spring/Summer 2020 collection.

2020 s/s collectionより東京に拠点を移しコレクションを発表する。生活とアートから得たマテリアルと色彩を元に、全て手作業によるファッションコレクションを製作・販売する。
衣服の制作のみでなく、映画制作や執筆、ドローイング、空間を含めファッションの世界観を表現する。
Since relocating its base to Tokyo with the 2020 Spring/Summer collection, yushokobayashi has continued to present collections that are entirely handcrafted. Each piece draws inspiration from materials and colors found in daily life and contemporary art.
The brand’s creative practice extends beyond clothing, encompassing filmmaking, writing, drawing, and spatial design — offering a comprehensive expression of its unique fashion universe.
